Ages

Ages

tick tack, tick tack, tick tock, tack, tock
the clocks sounds, a tiny minute hand points
your eyes follows it, waiting for the ring to sound
like a little child you are, sitting in front the wall

are we grown?, do we change our behave?
Do behave, said our mom, we never did
do we change once we grow, where it all goes?
The innocence leave our sight, am I right?

The innocence is yet there, or it had left you?
How you can be happy now, how can you smile now?
Purity, energy, wilderness, freedom of speech,
don't you miss any of them, you'll do

peter pan we all want to be
but we must grow, we get old
we are wise, we achieve knowledge
but do we still smile, yet we draw?

Dreams, we miss, hope we need
see those eyes, some blink in their spot
lively sight, naugthy child, innocent mind
don't you remind how does it feels?

Tick, tack, tick, tack
the clock goes on
tick, tock, tick, tock
time goes on, fast

tack, tock, tack, tock
can we stop it? Will we?
Ticking of clock echoes on the room
I'll never get old, i'll never be

innocence is on my heart, like a refugee
it don't want to leave, it loves this place
imagination guides, creativity called by the old
come one, keep on here, keep on

ideas that come, that makes me wise
knowledge I achieve, it makes me old
imagination feeds my needs, it brings joy
ideas that grow, like a child when plays with a toy

I don't want to feel old, I want to be wise
I don't want to get old, I want to remain a child
walk with me, come to my little world
teach me all you know, make me old and young
